Upgrading to a new phone can be a tedious process and data transfer can be confusing. There are plenty of 3rd party apps out there than can help you with an Android Data Transfer but would you really trust them?
In this video I will show you how you can easily backup to a Google Account and restore everything on to a new phone without the use of 3rd party apps.
This process was done on Android 9 but the process should be the same for Android 10 as well.
Note: If the backup button is disabled / greyed out, you will need to temporarily disable your Android Lock Screen Security Method (PIN, Password, Fingerprint or Pattern). There seems to be a bug in android that disables the backup button on some handsets. *This process may not work with phones that don’t use stock android like Samsung as they have their own backup & restore solution.
